Battle of helms deep is my favorite part of all 3 films and ever since i started playing lotr ive had a uruk-hai army. Me and my dad are gonna build a model of helms deep soon and I just finished adding up and stuff and i have 2 armies for the battle. (and i think i know the book says 1500 point for the battle but i want to do a bigger battle)

i think that ladders and battering rams are free. not sure about that though.

It sounds like a great battle you're planning there. However, I'm pretty sure that the attacker is supposed to get 2-3 times as many points as the defender to spend on their army as the defender has his castle to help them survive. If both sides have 2,000 points, the evil side will be at a huge disadvantage I think.

i agree with that. the attackers will need at least 5 thousand points if the defenders have 2000.

o ok so it would be a good idea to give the good 500 more points and then make the bad 5000?

5,000 is waaaaaaaay too much! The castle isn't such an advantage! Too many elves on the Rohan side and not a single rider! Are you planning on doing the charge of Eomer and Gandalf as well? There should still be some riders for when Theoden and Aragorn charge out of HD. If good is 2,000 then evil should only be about 3,000 max.
