Post subject:  (WOTR)Help with a Galadhrim Army...

Hey Guys
Im hoping to end up with a 3000-3500 point army of Galadhrim, it can be composed with other elves but the main base is going to be Galadhrim.

I currently have -

Heroes - Galadriel
Rumil(whos inclued in the Guardians of Caras Galadhon)
Legolas
Gildor(whos inclued into Gildors Household)
Halbard(allied grey company)

Monster - Glorfindel
Treebeard(depending if a team mate fields an ent or ents :P)

Infantry - 2 trays of Galadhrim Warriors
2 trays of Galadhrim Pikes
1 tray of Galadhrim Archers
3 trays of Wood Elves
3 trays of Rangers (Grey Company)

Thats about it... my style of play tends to include alot of shooting which is most likely obvious considering i field elves. Im looking to make them alot stronger for when it comes to hand to hand combat though.

So if anyone has any ideas of what to ADD or REMOVE from the army or any combo's that could be handy please let me know :-D

Thanks
CJ

Add more companies to the Galadhrim. 2 companies of anything that isn't Indomitable or Ambushing is too small to affect real change (except possibly archers) and D4 or D4(5) isn't all that to brag about ;)

You could also considering looking at Battlehosts as Thranduils Halls looks quite strong and there are the Galadhrim from the siege of Helm's Deep that have a Battlehost. These can be very powerful from what I've read (not game-breakingly though) and will help to incite themes.

I'll second that. You probably want formations of three or four companies.

P.S. I meant D4(6), lol. Stupid typos :D

I would recommend 4 companies because of the low defence. If they were D5 basic, I would say consider them in 3s and D6+, 3s is the way to go.
