Ok, exactly as the title says... I'm trying to find a general for my (up & coming) Mordor army... (dont have the sourcebook yet, i'm testing various lists)

Now then..., i do generally 300-500pt friendly battles with my mates, so it's not really for proper games... and the choices i'm interested in are...

. Nazgul, obviously, named & unnamed, WK especially
. Mouth of Sauron, not too sure here, if it's ok, can you guys give me hints on what he can actually do well?

..actually, thats about it! :D
(also as a slight off topic thing, is it possible to field an entire army of black numenoreans?)

thanks guys

It'd help to know what kinda list you want to use, for example morannon orcs or mordor orcs, captains or shamans, trolls or not etc... though I would recommend the Dark Marshal or the Shadow Lord as a general because of their special rules.

He He, i've already began to make my lists... and my general has already been decided on a budget wraith at 300pts, and at 500pt, a named wraith such as (yesterday), The Dark marshal ;)

Thanks for your input though ;), it's been like a week, and i was about to give up on this thread

Do you know that if you're taking a wraith you need a hero for the other troops as well? try grishnakh, gorbag or shagrat at that kinda points level- they're 5pts more that a normal captain of that type for an extra might point

Why do you need another hero? a rule or something?

Ya in the book the nazgul are an army all by them selves. They can ally with other armies in the mordor book to give that extra punch where it is needed. No to mention they can ally with any evil army accept for sharky’s rogues.

To be fair... The Nazgul aren't exactly the most balanced or powerful army... being only D8, and having only one wound... a couple of Elvish archers could probably make short work of them...
