Chicago/Illinois, USA Players?

Hey all, I'm looking to get back into LoTR (both SBG and in the future WOTR) and I'm wondering if there's anybody around to play! I frequent Games Plus in Mount Prospect and GW Deer Grove, I also visit GW Woodfield and have made the drive to the GW Battle Bunker.

I live not far from GW in Lombard and frequent Games Plus in Mount Prospect as well. I am a beginner though. By the way, there is an LOTR SBG at Games Plus on Saturday, February 11th starting at noon. It is semi-open, so the public is welcome to join and you do not have to bring anything. It is free. I believe there is only a few opennings though. Let me know if you want to join in and I may be able to reserve you a spot.

Most of the LotR Veterans are actually going to be at the Chicago Bunker this coming Saturday, the 11th with most of the heavy hitters getting there around 4pm. I'll be there all day myself outside of a dinner break. I will have 90% of my minis with me and will be using the new sourcebooks. I have all Gondor based armies available, Elves, Dwarves, Harad/Corsairs, Mordor. I'm perfectly willing to teach as well if necessary.

Mr. Bleak, I would highly recommend going with Lordgoober's gathering -- more experienced LOTR SBG players than at Games Plus. In addition, the Games Plus one will be extremely small scale as they will follow the Fellowship scenarios.

I strongly recommend that any LOTR players in the Chicagoland area, log on a create an account at Adeptus Windy City. We have a pretty active group of players (or at least players that like to pretend that we play).
