Hi all,
After many years of living vicariously, I have finally decided to join in your community (please be kind).

I have an extensive collection of miniatures, probably about a third finished, and currently slowly working through the LOTR scenario books (heavily modified in places) with a friend for fun and building scenery to fit.

I've been painting the models since 2005, on and off - I had to move around a lot with work so they would get boxed up and forgotten about for long periods, but only in the last two years have I knuckled down and started finishing them and actually playing the game... Really wish I'd done it sooner, but I have these models for life now, and can enjoy them at my leisure!

Just got to pluck up a bit of courage...

I've had quite a few eye operations over the last seven or do years, so my fine detail is a little bumpy on some of my older models, but that is all settled now and I can paint without a magnifier.

Nice work on Weathertop and Khazad-Dum!

I also love the hanging bridges from the trees, and that awesome elven tree at the end! Spectacular, really nice work.

Thank you, I'm kind of learning as I go along, using various articles in BGIME/Sourcebooks and on sites like this one, but modifying them to be modular, or at least movable. The Mallorn tree I made as a table centre for my wedding, I just have to do a bit of modification to make it game table worthy again, just in time for the Seige of Lothlorien.

How did you guess? I'm getting bored of waiting for the sun to come out here so I can go outside and do some airbrushing, it doesn't look like it will be today...
