HI!!!

Just thought id jump straight into it and say hi. I know my way around the forum already because ive used my fiance's account to look around. I wont give him a shout out, ill let him show his face :wink:

ive already begun learning the basics of the game and painting. Ive had a great teacher helping me. ive beenn a long time Tolkien fan, and fantasy lover in general, and i loved looking at miniatures. That being the main reason i got involved. Ive decided to build an Uruk hai force and im starting with some scouts.

I really look forward to using this forum and getting more involved. P.S (please tell me im not the only female using this forum).

Hi and welcome to the One Ring. Great to hear that you are enjoying the hobby. Your fiance is on the site already, how very intriguing.

Uruk hai are great army to start up with. Look forward to seeing what you come up with. We do have a few females here on the One Ring.

This is a great place both for the gaming and the creative side of the hobby. There are also a good number of really avid and very knowledgable Tolkien fans too. It's not a prerequisite for playing the game of course, but it helps!

You'll find if you start a WIP thread, whatever level you're at from complete novice to high level painter, you'll get loads of support and advice.
