Hi all,

been a longtime fan of LotR films and books and knew about the existence of the game when it first launched (I played WHFB) and many of my friends play and have lots of minis. My brother recently alerted me to the fact that many minis were going out of production so I went full bore into collecting models for the three armies I'd always wanted - Minas Tirith, Harad, and Isengard. Over the last few months I've gotten three quite large armies (my fifth Mumakil is arriving in a week or so!) and I hope to start playing War of the Ring in a few weeks.

I know there's some other LotR players in my area, but I am moving to a new place soon (still in Richmond) so most of my stuff is getting packed away. Still, if anyone from RVA wants to help me learn a little War of the Ring I'd be very glad.

Anyway been perusing the forum here and lots of great info! Thanks for having me.
