Hi - Another newbie

Hi all.. just registered as saw a request for players in Leicestershire.. but thought just say hi anyway.. have been wargaming of and on since 70s.. historic mainly (ancients), but also early D&D, etc.. took hiatus whilst studying and moving around country.. then as usual when had children of own became re-acquainted with the hobby (mostly through 40K & warhammer - but also DBA & HOTT).. anyway have to admit have been a viewer of content here ... but decided to enter the fray... I play for leisure and distraction from a demanding job.. so enjoy making a complete camels behind of myself whilst playing :rofl:

Hopefully will find the time to post things ...

Great to have you on board! If you have any painted miniatures or scenery it would be great to see them? Also, its well worth getting involved with other members on this site for games. I have had a game with a bunch of lads who I met through this site, I was thoroughly trounced at East Grinstead Wargames club, but thoroughly enjoyed the game!

Thanks for the warm welcome... I shall try to post every now and then, but real life often gets in the way.

If I feel brave enough then yes some pics of my figures may find their way on here some time.. I consider myself fairly average and paint to get the figures on the table.. given my aged eyesight I try my best...but don't always succeed in getting what I see in my head on to the 3 dimensional object in front of me..
