Hiya,

I'm currently based in South Africa, but will be moving to the united kingdom in the next year or two, am very keen to get into the Lord of the Rings it is not very big in SA, but was wondering if it is big in United Kingdom?

I'm a very keen on getting dwarfs and might start out with the Hobbit: unexcepted Journey Box.

Cheers,
DeathsAngel

Welcome. Popularity for SBG varies from store to store, area to area in the UK. At my local in the south east, there are at least 6 of us who play regularly.

I have managed to to run a small club for the last ten years. Games Workshop tends to neglect Lotr/Hobbit SBG in White Dwarf, and the standard of the tables in the stores tends to me mediocre to poor! The average gamer tends to be older and less likely to play in store as well.
