Hello "The One Ring" -Community,

I am 25, live in Germany and I am studying to become a Teacher (should I ever stop concentrating more on my Hobbies rather than University ;) ).

I`ve been a Tolkien Fan for a long Time and was really happy when GW released the strategy game. I played for years but after time the other tabletops I was playing became more important to me. I loved the models but was never to keen on the rules. Despite that I am missing playing in Middleearth so thats why I am back, there are not many places on the net for LotR Fans compared to 40K or Fantasy so I was really glad when I found this site.

I love Dwarves, have a huge Warhammer Fantasy Dwarf army and of course a LotR Dwarf army. My aim is to get an eveil Force in and save some of my favourite minis before they get converted to finecast.

Cheers and all the best.
T

(sorry for any mistakes, english isn`t my main language  )

Thanks for the nice welcome Matt.
Immer nett einen Landsmann zu treffen :) und Lehrer gibt es nie genug :).

I decided to show some of my work, I know its no LotR but vintage Dwarves are probably my biggest Hobby love, as soon as I have decided on a new LotR army in I will try to open a WIP Thread for that stuff.

They look good, will be interesting to see some of your LOTR stuff!

Und bin leider kein Landesmann, eher ein (zugezogener) südlicher Nachbar haha :P

Welcome to the forum. Although I don't like Warhammer as a gaming system, ( I find it very convoluted) I always loved the range's Dwarves. Your painting does them justice!
