Post subject:  Hi everybody!

Hello, I'm lonely_cube and I joined the One Ring a little while ago, so I thought I should introduce myself. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I've been collecting LotR minis for a few months now, and I've played a few SBG games. Currently I'm a bit spread out with what I'm collecting; I've got some Rohan, Moria, Harad, and Dwarves (mostly the two evil ones right now though). This seems like a great community, and I hope I can find a way to contribute to it. My painting isn't nearly as good as most of the stuff I've seen on here, but maybe someday I'll have some pics worth posting.

Cheers!

Hey there, welcome to The One Ring. Yay Rohan! Boo Harad! :P I kid, sounds like you have a pretty decent set-up there. As for posting your work, the folks here are great for giving comments and tips. Hope to see you around the board sometime :)

Hey Lonely_cube, welcome to the One-Ring family!
Don't worry about the painting-skills mate. Post your work as you wish, it's a great place here to get really constructive feedback of our members, it'll help you improve!
Another trick to raise your skills is taking part in the monthly challenges. Even if you don't stand a chance at all, you'll always have a chance to try better next time, and that's the best way to imrove, to try to beat your own previous work. You'll see it works ;)

Have a great One-Ring-time! 8)

Welcome! I can only echo what the guys above have said: this is a great community for offering constructive advice and feedback and tips. People are always happy to see pictures of your work, even if you're still working on your painting.

Welcome to the One Ring. The website is about to undergo a massive change to its look, so don't be surprised if you wake up one morning (very soon) and don't recognize the place.

Have fun, there's a lot to do here and loads of helpful people who will bend over backwards to get you up to speed on painting, terrain making, and playing the games.
