Hi guys, most of you might not know me any more, I haven't posted in some time, but I've been an on-again-off-again regular on the boards since the beginning of 2007, more than four years now.. wow! been in the hobby somewhat longer, still only have 2 finished miniatures. Perfectionism is my bane. Converting grabs most of my attention, as does trading, and the social aspects of the hobby. T his is been my 4th 'return-from-the-dead' topic, I'm like some persistent foot fungus, I keep on coming back. With some sort of holiday coming up, and general melancholy, I thought to have a gander about here again, see what everyone's up to, and how the site was doing after the hack. So, what is everyone up to, and how is the site's progress going? |

Howdy! I still remember you.... Dorth is still kicking around. (better watch out for that B_zooka) Dagorlad was organising a tournament and he is now on vacation, so the site hasn't had much work done on it for a while, but thew forums work and the articles are accesible, so it's all good. Now we just realise how spoiled we are, expecting all the fancy flashes and doodads that the old O-R had. Some sites will always be as simple as this. |

I have no idea who you are Sean, nor do I still have your email, ready to flood the alphabet at a moment's notice... Quite a few of the regulars seem to have vanished (I myself did so for a year, and edged cautiously back in to a few threads), and more have returned. Mig's prophesy comes true more often than you'd expect, I guess. Before I go onto a rambling rant (I would, but lethargy's setting in about now... not what it used to be) I'll just leave you with that memorable quote which once inhabited your sig: Rudders of the ship deeply. |
