Hi Guys,

I'm Chris and live in Wellington, NZ. Thought I'd better introduce myself since I have just joined and posted in the trade forum. I've recently got back into miniature painting after a long break (over 20 years), my eldest son got me back into it!

Hi, I'm actually from the UK but I moved here 6 years ago. I'm only really interested in collecting characters from the LotR. My son is interested in gaming so I guess I'll end up having to build army or two at some point but for the moment I'm just collecting metal miniatures.

A warm welcome to the site, nice to have you back into the hobby. I've always been attracted to NZ or Australia and hope to go there at least some day. Will be interesting to see which armies you get into. What aspect are you more into - gaming, painting or terrain?

I'm currently into painting (same as when I was a kid). I never got into gaming or terrain then but my son is keen on gaming and terrain at the moment so I guess it will only be a matter of time!

Welcome.
Theres a few players around in Wello region, I'm sure they'll sound off once they stumble across this post.

I'm up in Kapiti if you are ever up this way? Mind you it could get confusing as my son and a regular gaming buddy are also both called Chris. May have to sort out nick names...
