I didn't sleep this night because of the pain, and the pain killers are just nog working

There is 1 problem, I can't lift my leg, but perhaps that is still because of the surgery.

And I can't go to the toilet by myself, I can't get out of bed by myself..
I can't do anything by myself for now

So I have to wait until someone else get's down here and can lift my leg of the bed

If by success do you mean he was better off before the surgery, than yes, it seems to have been. :wink:

They did remove some bones, and he said before the surgery that it would hurt very much the coming weeks.
But the surgery was a succes because he didn't have to touch my string under my knee.

This night I could move my leg a little bit, so that's also good news

I get more and more strength back every day.

In surgery he did touch a nerve and now the right side around my knee is "dead".
But hey it's better than the alternative

A small update if someone is interested,
my leg feels better, and the wound is closed for the biggest part.

I think the "dead" feeling won't go away, but it is better for now

Coming monday the stiches will be removed.

But it's a no go for painting and converting for now,
I can't sit with my legs down and painting/converting on a bed isn't a good idea ^_^.

Oooh threadomancy..

Anyways after a long, very long absence I'm back.
If anyone read what happenend to me, and if anyone cares, and update on my health.

It has gotten worse, I walk with a crutch now, and that will be for the rest of my life, plain and simple.
The surgery was a fail, and I have to live with that, again quite simple.

But I want to start again with LOTR, so I am stripping a lot of miniatures of their paint, selling a lot of miniatures and buying some more.
The biggest problem is, there isn't any opponent for me!

All my friends stopped playing, and have absolutely no interest in playing a game of LOTR SBG/WOTR.
They are playing fantasy and 40k.

But to make a semi-long story short, I'm sort of back. :shock:

It's not a bad time to return. There's a whole bunch of stuff coming out in February, and a rules update for SBG.

Yeah I saw that, I don't know if I like the new rules update though..
But there are some really cool Easterlings miniatures coming out.. but that is for the discussion topic for the new miniatures.

Welcome back Imrail, this is the first time i've read this post (because of the threadomancy

). Sorry to hear about your situation, your positive posts are an inspiration and you should definitely do what you want, even if your friends aren't interested in the hobby anymore. I'm sure there are a few players on here who might live near you, check out the opponent finders section. I wish you the best of luck in the future, my thoughts are with you oooh and post your work up in the WIP thread for us all to see
