Hey everyone!

I decided to check how this website is doing after years of not being on. Glad to see my account still exists! Anyone from the pre-2010 years still active?

I probably won't be really active and haven't been following GW's release schedule or plans for LOTR. (Years of backlog still needs painting. ) So what's happening in LOTR land? Any exciting new releases coming up, new rules, etc?

Good to see the website is still going (str)on(g?)!

Welcome back old-timer! The forum has slowed down quite a bit in the last few years but there are a number of hangers on and plenty of people who come by to keep an eye on things. The gaming scene is doing fairly well all things considered. GW has moved new releases to a Forge World department. The stuff they make is still very nice if a bit expensive. A new starter set and rules book are coming out in August with an army book that should reconcile the stat creep experienced during the Hobbit release. There are a fair number of privately managed tournaments being organized these days and there are yet games to be had I'll warrant.

Anyway, feel free to let us that remain your wisdom and experience.
