I have seen some nice conversions of an armoured glorfindel on Horse, but I was wondering if any one has done Gil-galad on horse. Since he is offcialy allowed an armoured horse he could be quite potent on the charge. If you have done this conversion, I would like to know how, preferably with pics |

The Elrond looks great. I simply green stuffed over the bow and clipped off the quiver of a Rivendell Knight captain. Not painted yet though... |

I've done one, I used a plastic Dol Amroth Armoured horse and placed a Knight of Rivendell (no Helmet) on it, then game him an arm re-arrangement. I will post a picture later when I can. |

Mounted Elrond looks awesome!! Looking at the Gil-Galad model It seems quite hard you will have to seperate his arms from the body. His spear could look quite cool in a mounted model. It seems that the best bet would be use a another model with a head swap and then model his garments. |

Cereal thief has an armoured glorfy and gil-galad mounted. He used the armoured twins as base models. Head swaps, arm reposes. Pm him and he'll gladly send you photos. |

Here's my Gil-Galad on an armoured mount. Its a cheap and easy conversion if you have the Dol Amroth and Rivendell Knights plastic kits. - remove Bow and quiver - re-arrange arm position. - switch in a plastic Dol Amroth armoured horse - you could always go further and use some greenstuff and what not or do a head swap. |

@rigg Thanks for posting, I have seen some nice conversions now. Your conversion does look well executed, and a good paintjob I have to admit that I dont like the dol-amroth horse, it gives me a warhammerish feeling, but converting from a rivendel knight seems like a 'cheap' option indeed. I would rather use a galadhrim horse |
