I am considering getting the Grimhammers, and I would like a hero to lead them other than the Grimhammer Captain. I like the look of Thrain, but I also like the look of the old LotR Dwarf kings, and you get two of them for a lower price than one Thrain model!

I was wondering how the old Dwarf Kings look beside the new Grimhammers. I would really appreciate it if someone could possibly post a pic of a Dwarf King and a Grimhammer side-by-side for comparison!

Thanks :)

Thanks for the quick reply, Lays!

I think the proportions are a bit different, the Grimhammers seem taller but more slight. I think I'll probably go with Thror or Thrain.

Thanks again!

Lays, if you enclose that link in your post with code IMG in place of code URL the image will appear in the post in place of the link.

Got there before me Dave, I have edited the post to include the image.

Dwarves, Hobbits and Men are all different sizes within their own groups...I think any of the mentioned miniatures would work well, plus take into account the Grimhammers are wearing armour which would add to their size.

Also consider the nature of the "Dwarf Heavy Armour" that a king would wear, that would heavily contribute to their larger girth (as well as not being a part of the standing army in terms of drills and such to keep them fit)
