Nail varnish remover, fill a container with it and let the trolls soak for a couple of hours/overnight |

Eeew that is ugly. Isn't nail varnish remover to aggressive for plastic miniatures? I always use Dettol. |

Yeah, it'll dissolve plastic miniatures but that troll is metal so it'll work fine. Added bonus, it will strip the paint off, too. Let it soak then hold it under a tap and give it a good brush with an old toothbrush. |

My mistake. I didn't pay much attention. I thougt it was the plastic troll. Good luck with it. |

hi, its been awhile since I was able to get to the trolls but the nail polish remover worked perfect, I used non-acetone and the green stuff peeled right off, thanks for the help |

This is news to me. Good to know, I have some crummy second hand Uruk-hai berserkers modified with green stuff to look like feral uruk-hai complete with crappy paint job. |

make sure to use non-acetone nail polish remover, I once soaked a metal figure in acetone nail polish remover but the plastic base was still attached and it made a horrible mess, i'm not 100% sure but I would imagine acetone would have the same effect on green stuff. |
