Hi guys... I am ready to take my first minis
So i will take warriors of minas tirith but i will paint them in my special way...
I want their armour to be dwarf bronze but must i put chainmail and add it like mitril silver or simple to put it...

Try basecoating the armour with tin bitz, then dwarf bronze/scorched brown, then pure dwarf bronze. |

By basecoating you mean after sprayign it with skull white/chaos black right? Have you used this method? |

Yes, just applying a flat colour over the undercoat. Yeah, I've used this before, adding the scorched brown to the bronze improves the coverage, and gives a better finish than just jumping straight from tin to bronze. |

Sometimes non-standard colour schemes arent good. For ex. the red clothes minas t. warriors. I saw some great schame for fallen realms at gw homepage, check that out. |

Yes but originality is good, so kudos for those that think outside the box and embrace creativity.  Any paint scheme, alternative or original, is based upon the ability of the painter, so, 20 people all doing red Gondor will have different results.
