Hi!

I'm a collector from austria and I own every miniature officially released from GW (most of them still in blisters), but I think it's impossible to get one of the never released miniatures. If the would ever sold at ebay you have to pay horrible prices. I've already seen the two handed Axeman and the 4. Mahud Pose on ebay but the final price was more than 300 Dollar in the case of the Axeman and 100€ for the Mahud. The only little chance to get them is an directly connection to the design-staff of GW.

The other minis posted before are most common. I have 5 sorts for my collection:

1. Very common: Every mini released with BgiMe and simple to find on ebay, except the BgiMe only models like Rohan Royal Banner Bearer or the conversion kit
2. Common: The actual range of GW Minis whitch can be ordered from retailers. This covers all the minis witch are harder to find on ebay, but still available
3. Uncommon: Minis witch are OOP but usualy to find on ebay, for example: Beregond, Twilight Ringwraiths, old Halbarad, etc.
4. Rare: Limited Releases, for example: Invisible Frodo, Sam & Frodo in orc armour, Lobelia, Lurtz with bow (single blister not the one from amon hen box!), Haldir without armor with bow, etc.
5. Unique: 4. Pose of Mordor Uruk-Hai & Mahud, 2nd Woodelf Banner Bearer, two handed Uruk-Hai Axeman etc.

The are also exist several semi-offical items witch are very rare. US-GW released a couple of wounded mumaks in resin for the shops battle campain. There are also exist some metal versions of plastic minis. For example look at the goblins in the first 2 issuses of BgiMe. They are metal and different to the plastic ones!

These are the regular armoured moria Goblins. I mean different poses from the plastic one. There are also exist metal high elves, witch are slighty different to the plastic ones.

Did you ever found the marked goblins on a spure? No? -> You can't, because they where never released. This minis where only used for promotion during the first relase of the rule book. Only a few know of the existence of them. This is one of the secrets of LOTR!

Yeah the ones Lindir linked are the metal Moria Goblins I knew of but those ones you've posted are very interesting, never seen those ones before.

Mordor Orcs
Morannon Orcs
Uruk Hai Scouts
Warg Riders
(I might have missed some)

All of which cannot be bought anymore (other than 2 of the metal warg riders available in the Warg Attack boxed set and a couple of the metal Uruk Scouts available in the Ambush at Amon Hen boxed set).
