Ponies

Does anyone know a good place to buy miniature ponies?
Would like to make thorins company on ponies!

I'm not sure about ponies, but check out eBob miniatures. You can get some horses. There's one "not Bill the Pony" on that site too actually.

I've just replied to your question in the chat box. IIRC ebob makes a great pony miniature similar to GW's Bill. I'll try and find a link.

EDIT: here's a link. The pony miniature is near the bottom of the page and it is an actual pony not a horse. It's only £2 as well.

Is the ebob pony also the right size?

Should be. All his Fantasy range minis are 28mm so it should work absolutely fine. You'll probably have to cut away the barrel on his back in order to mount a model on top but that should be pretty straight forward.
