Looking for info on the Hobbit Movie release in Dublin

Not really sure which forum to put this one in so I figured I wouldn't get into trouble if I used "Off Topic"

I'm looking for some help from anyone who lives in or near Dublin, Ireland. Probably a long shot but I'll see if anyone here on OR can help me.

I'm going to be traveling to Ireland the week of Dec 10. It looks like I'll be back in Dublin on Dec 13th and was thinking about trying to find a movie theatre near the Dublin airport where I could watch the Hobbit before I fly back home to the US (flying home the morning of the 14th). Some internet research suggests that the theatre called "Movies @ Swords" is only about 5 km away from the airport. Anyone know anything about this theatre?

Alsa, does anyone know what the release date for Ireland is? IMDB says Dec 14 but when I go to the Movies @ Swords website, it appears they have Hobbit shows starting as early as 1pm on the 13th?

I'm not sure if I can make this work with my group's travel plans but I'm going see options I have.

Don't know if this helps you (though it may interest others), but here's a list of cinemas confirmed as showing Hobbit at 48FPS/3D/IMAX/etc:

Apparently the "Omniplex" cinemas might be the ones to look for in Republic Of Ireland. Sadly only three cinemas in UK seem to be listed.

It would be cool to see The Hobbit in Swords. I have been there not for any cinema but for the annual re-enactors and military maniacs convention.
Some of them have B a z o o k a s too!

Movies @ swords will have the 2D and 3D versions but there are no schedules yet - that is more or less the same everywhere.
The earliest shows I see listed for my local cinemas in Derry are 8pm on 13th December.

Enjoy! I am waiting until 14th December as the shows on 13th are late nighters and will be packed with people who are too weird even for me. I like it quiet so I can savour the soundtrack... and the screams.
