How do I know which miniatures are made from metal and which from resin? Sometimes it is written and sometimes it is not. Yesterday I bough Imrahil on my local trade market and overpaid a bit, only because I did not know if the one made currently by GW isn't resin...

I think most of the models on the GW website should say what material they are (although looking at you example they don’t all).

Generally if it doesn’t say then it is probably metal, other ways of telling are from the price. Metal models are generally not a round price, so they have a number of pence (e.g. £8.20). I think most of the foot and mounted heroes under £20 are also metal.

If you email customer services they should be able to confirm what material they are for you.

This comes up a lot - it's a shame they're so coy about it on the website. It usually is Finecast only if it says "This is a finely detailed resin cast kit". From all the things me and my friends have ordered everything else is metal.

I bought an Imrahil a few months ago and he is still metal. So are Glorfindel and Erestor.
