Recently while browsing through my rule-books for LotR I noticed that Wargs have a better shoot value than Giant Spiders (apparently spider-man is a lie because his accuracy should suck lol) and is of equal value to Orcs. Which begs the question 'Why didn't Sauron just give the Wargs bows?" Anyways I just wanted to see if anyone else had noticed other weird rules that may or may not have any real game influence |

Even better, wargs as mounts have a 6+ [yeah, apparantly you can try to roll a six or higher...] shoot value, while the wild ones have the 5+. Then again, it must be even tougher to use a missile weapon if there's some guy on your back... (although the effect remains even when the rider is gone actually) Shame Morgoth didn't create those creatures with opposable thumbs! |

Placing a paw on each side of the cross-bar and drawing back with their mouths lol. I'm kinda hoping spiders from the Hobbit will have some kind of ensnare rule that might actually make use of their shoot value Another interesting point in the rules is that horses have better courage than an Orc or Goblin... |

I think the spider ensnare rule would be fun. |

Orc Warriors guiding the Orc Catapult are better than regular Orcs for the same point cost? The Goblin King can throw a Goblin at a mounted Witch-King on Fellbeast and dismount the whole thing? A couple of bunnies have more attacks than a monsterous Fellbeast? |

But don't get me started on what is wrong with other profiles.. |

Frodo's will. The little chap fought off the full might of Sauron with his mind, and yet he has no more will than the Dwarf Heros. |

I suspect that we may get distinct rules for Mirkwood spiders next month, and you never know there may be several varities in the same manner as in ant society? |

Definitely somewhere more towards 10 will would be a more realistic! And Sam for that matter should have a higher will as well as he carried the ring for a while whilst in mordor and was frodo's pillar throughout. |

This Ensnare Rule , against dwarfs , ooh god please no! , funny against elves as they like to jump about all over the place but dwarves are already slow. I bet the hobbits will get some sort of special rule against it like " escape artists" which makes it void. |

I like the idea of spiders with ballistic attacks. The Spiders are probably the things that I am most looking forward to painting and using, the new Dol Guldur orcs a close second! Naturally I would love to get my hands on a Thranduil in heavy armour on battle moose, but I think they will release a the inevitable model of him in pyjamas first, and we won't see this model until the battle of the five armies is released. |

Remember the Dwarves were starving in the book. They were already weak. I am not sure ensnare should be very effective. We will see soon |
