I'm interested in buying the Kingdoms of Men sourcebook. But i dont know if they are going to change it now and i dont want to buy something that's gonna be useless in a couple of months.

So my question is(if anyone knows): Is GW gonna change those rulebooks too or just the big one?

Probably yes, but possibly no. I think it'll be clearer with the release tomorrow.

In the new WD there is a A4 page dedicated to the sourcebooks so I reckon you are fine to buy them.

I saw the new releases of GW and still i cant understand what the hell they are going to do with the sbg rules.
Ok now the game is split in 2 parts. Hobbit sbg and lotr sbg.
The hobbit rulebook is going to have all rules(including the lotr ones? )
And finally, why at the lotr books i now see the first 3 rulebooks? (fellowship of the ring, two towers and return of the king)

Anyone knows what are GW's plans according the rules?

Those aren't the old rulebooks mate, they're the 'old' scourcebooks.

If you wanted to collect say... Uruks, you needed the One Rulebook + two towers.

You would actually need the One rulebook/ hobbit book and the Fallen Realms sourcebook if you wanted the latest profiles.

That's why he used past tense - it's no more. :P

From what I've read over on TLA (see here: http://www.thelastalliance.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5795 ), the 5 'new' LotR Army Books are completely compatible with The Hobbit SBG. The Hobbit SBG is said to be a new version of the LotR SBG, not an entire new system.
The source has read this in this month's White Dwarf, so that should be pretty solid.

So, from what I know, they can still be used and points values etc will not change. That's a good thing I think, now I can finally consider buying some of the Army Books (at first, I half expected them to become obsolete with The Hobbit rules, but gladly, they don't!). :)

Check the FAQS, GW updated most of them, Riders of Rohan now have no bow limit among other changes
