From the books, Aragorn is far and away my favourite. In terms of gaming, I really like Erkenbrand; in both SBG and WotR he's cost-effective, has a good supply of Might, and has some nice Special Rules.

Film wise, Lurtz, just for having the guts to take on Boromir and even Aragorn. Plus force himself along a sword lol.

Game wise, it is a toss up between the Dark Marshal and Gothmog, both for their abilities.

My favourite character in book, fil and game is Gothmog, because he is Gothmog. Gothmog is awesomely evil, and I love every line he says in the film, my favourites include: "fear, the city is rank with it," but what of the wizard" "release the prisoners" and "form ranks you maggots"

She plays SBG against me, but noone ele, and I've seen at least 5 girls playing SBG or WOTR (I started a WOTR club in college and of the four memnbers, 2 were girls)

Hey, i have seen girls do allsorts of hobbies you wouldn't expect and all types of girls too.

But to add to my game favs it has to be all of the named Uruk Heroes really, they are all just so good at being Evil (lets guess what side i prefer) :p

In my opinion the oorcs are better at being evil than the uruks.

Orcs are just the wimpy arrow fodder, give me 100 Uruks, or failing that a 1000 of your lowly Orcs

Though to be honest most of the Orc Heroes, aside from the brutal Gothmog, are a bit similar to me and lacking in power, but each to there own, i prefer elite forces than overwhelming numbers.

We must agree to disaggree, I prefer a huge mob of unruly orcs led by one or two leaders like Gothmog, and a handful of elites like trolls. It's the hordes that do it for me.

Of course, we all have what we prefer.

Though i do have a use for Orcs, cheaper spear support than expensive Uruk pike support, other than that i just don't wish to use them.

Goblins are the most evil then orcs and alst Uruk-hai... At least they have honour...

Well true, i suppose the Uruks are a walking powerhouse but still have a sense of proper war, not skulking in cover, launching off arrows.
