Post subject: | GW Brushes |
I really need to get some proper brushes, as half of my current ones are falling to pieces. So here's the question: are the new GW brushes any good and are they worth their cost? Thanks. |

All of my brushes are from GW and I think that they are pretty good. Besides of the fact that everything from GW costs much , I think that they are worth the cost. As long as you take good care of your brushes . |

Stippling brush was a good idea, but don't buy one. I still can't get a very satisfying effect with it, stick with an old brush and stab and drybrush with that =P Handles are smoother =) Bristles slightly better. James |

I bought the new Tank Brush, 2 fine detail brushes and the detail brush, and can fully recommend them. They have lasted very well and their ends don't splay out like some I've bought. I certainly think they're worth their cost. |

They're worth the money, my GW brush lasted 2 years without any problems and it outlasted other brushes which I bought to add to my set. I'm getting 2 new GW brushes tommorow (hopefuly). |

i would definately reccomend them! the wash brush is fantastic and all o them seem to have held their shape really well ive had a fine detail one since the new ones were released and it doesnt seem to have lost any bristles. the only one that i have a problem with is the base coat brush mine seemes to split straight away but it still works |

Thanks very much guys for the replies. Next question: is it worth getting all of the brushes? Do you use all of them for different stages or just stick to the one you're most comfortable with for the majority of painting? |

I have been pleased with the new GW brushes, as well. I have the majority of them, and I do use them all for different applications. |

I typically use the Beginner's Brush (from most paint sets), the Detail Brush, and the Fine Detail Brush the most. |
