Well true, i suppose the Uruks are a walking powerhouse but still have a sense of proper war, not skulking in cover, launching off arrows. :P

Skulking in cover, launching off arrows is proper war. When you're evil, why fight fair when yu could loose when you could fight dirty and win

Again, a difference we have. True sword and shield war needs no cover, except a little for the archers. Though i do prefer the honour and battlefield code than underhandedness. A big, crashing Uruk in armour works for me better than a few Goblins cowering behind a shield :P Even Lurtz stood in the open and shoot at Boromir, unlike the Goblins that simply hid among the Moria ruins and slyly launched off arrow after arrow.

But by the hand of Aragorn, and he went down fighting like a true hard nut lol.

Goblins lost to a frying pan being weilded by a mad hobbit :P

Though to be honest as many Orcs as you can muster just means there are more to turn tail and run when enough Good warriors turn up lol.

Sam Gamgee is no mad hobbit, he is a fully qualified gardener!

My fave character is Gothmog and he is an orc in the film. IMO orcs are way better than uruk-hai from isengard

not when you have a ringwraith or Gothmog.

In the movies it's Éomer (ofc) in SBG or the books I don't think I have a favourite one.

It's SARUMAN!

Both in the Movies and the Game.

For the books, it's Denethor.

Could you please refer only to LOTR Heroes in this thread. Similarly, 'Dracula' is not a LOTR monster, and the army one is alo not LOTR. Thankyou.

For books I like Ugluk. He's only in it for like 1 chapter but Tolkien does a great job describing the personality of him
In movies its either a toss-up between Theoden (Bernard Hill is a great actor!) and Gimli
In game terms my favourite hero got to be Boromir of Gondor or the Knight of Umbar.

I like Ugluk a lot too, he's probably my second favorite. Or the first. Damn, I like them all.
