Post subject:  Chase the Uruk-hai

I got this idea after playing the game of return of the king for the playstation 2 after you play the helms deep level you play as Gandalf and chase the uruk-hai into fangorn.

SPECIAL RULES

Run Away-Since the Uruk-hai have run away they are pretty jumpy and scared of everything so how about they move 4 inches being pretty tired after sieging helms deep and gandalf always has terrifying aurau on, no need to rool even if his will drops below 0.The Uruk-ahi also have minus 1 courage . Doesn't matter[/u]

The Ents Are Awoken-Before the game starts 1/3 of the trees are marked as ents in a way that only you know. Whenever an Uruk-hai runs into 1 inch away from that tree he counts as takingaa strength 7 hit and must roll straight onto the wound chart.

THE OBJECTIVES

Good
#Gandalfs goal is to kill as many uruk-hai as he can so if he can kill half of the models he has won

Evil
#The Uruk-hai must get 1/2 of their starting force onto isengards border line it is a victory for them.

STARTING POSITIONS

Good
#All models start within 5" within one of the table edges the opposite side is the isengard line.

Evil
#The Uruk-hai start within 10" on the same side.

STARTING FORCES

Good
# Gandalf
# Eomer
#12 Warriors of Rohan (Sword and shield)
#12 Warriors of Rohan (Bow)
#12 Warriors of Rohan (Throwing spear and shield)
#6 Riders Of Rohan (Your Choice)

Evil
# 3 Uruk-hai captian (Sword and shield)
# 12 Uruk-hai (Pikes)
# 12 Uruk-hai (Sword and shield)
# 6 Uruk-hai (Crossbows)
# 4 Berserkers

LAYOUT

This is Fangorn Forest so basically you can decide what the scenery is. I would recommend have quite a few trees because the more trees the more ents. Try and put in a path.leading one side to the other.

In the books, the wildmen of Dunland were at the battle of helms deep, so maybe add in three of them?

I dont think there should be a standard bearer because realistically, if he was running he would drop the standard so that he could move quicker!

The Captains are a good idea though. Well done! :D

yeah LOL

he was like
"Hold on a minute i have to check the rules, Dad...

30 mins later

"ok you actually can do that it is ok"

and what about that other one who kept moving his men back i wanted to go to the other side of the table and punch him

anyway dosnt matter about the wargs or bearer i just thought that cos there were so many bearers at helms deep, but it doesnt matter
