Like the STF Wargaming Studio guys, I'm trying to play every SBG scenario. But I'm doing it more impressionistically rather than in strict chronological order. And, unfortunately, I don't have their discipline. :)

I have been starting a separate topic for each scenario, with the hopes to generate discussion about that scenario and make it easy for folks to find said discussion when they get a hankering for a specific scenario.

But the end result looks a little spammy. So I think in the future I'll just keep my replay notices here in this thread.

I still welcome comments and discussion, of course! (Opinions on above?)

And let's start this topic with another War in Rohan scenario, this time The Uruk-hai Retreat:

Nice ents and of course, trees! I liked the separate threads for each scenario, easier to compare when different people do the same scenario. Don't feel like you are spamming the thread at all.

Nice one Dave. Looks like a fun scenario! I'm super keen to play it myself, but need way more trees!

Good idea changing up the order of scenario's- will feel like less of a 'grind'. Look forward to the next one.

Thanks, guys!

I guess if no one minds, I'll go back to one scenario per topic. Other opinions solicited, though.

I don't see any reason not to have separate threads for your random battlings :)

An excellent write-up as always and it has some interesting rules that seem kind of tricky to balance. It is always encouraging to me when I hear that the theme was solid in a scenario as well.

In terms of your new goal, what a fantastic and fun goal that will be to accomplish. I dreamed of doing such things but my lack of storage space and need to paint everything to the highest quality standard got in the way. Based on what I've seen, I think you're well suited to accomplish a goal like this and I'll be watching with great interest :)
