Hello folks! I've been an occasional visitor to the forum for awhile, but as I get more into LOTR I find that I'm coming here more often and wanting to take a more active part in the conversations. Probably like many, it's been a LONG time since I was playing LOTR games but with the new release of MESBG I'm finding myself really getting back into it. It's like dating an ex wife. So hello! nice to meet you. Not wanting to come empty handed, here are some pics of the latest MESBG, The defense of Osgiliath, the first scenario from Gondor at war more pics and full AAR can be seen on my blog: https://tllw.blogspot.com/2019/04/defense-of-osigiliath-aar-and-other.html Thanks for looking. |

Great blog post! I too wrestled with getting back into this game system after a 10 year break. But I think the rules, with the latest minor updates, are still very solid, fast and fluid. The good news for me was that I had a lot of stuff in storage and getting back into the game has cost me very little (ie. the new rule books). It was also fun to play these games again with my youngest son, now 21, who had started his gaming hobby with LOTR. Our goal has been to go back and play as many of the scenarios from the original source books and then jump into Gondor at War. Your photos provide plenty of motivation to so so. Cheers! Brian |

Very nice! The HirstArts ruins are top-notch. I haven't done any casting in years but I'm starting to get the itch again and those photos are inspirational. |

Thanks guys for the replies. Getting back into LoTR certainly is fun. I was also helped that I kept my modest collection through the years so the hurdle wasn’t too huge. Though it has provoked a buying frenzy. The HA molds are perfect for LoTR. I’m going to have to make some more stuff soon, though the projects are kinda labor intensive. |

Thanks! You are correct; I’ve spent many an hour on the Internet looking at people’s hirst Arts creations. |
