hey all, i was just watching some videos on how to clean your brushes.
the brush cleaner name is masters brush cleaner
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRXoZ9as ... re=related

i was wondering if you can clean a GW fine detail brush with this stuff, and if you can, how do some of you master painters do it?

do you do it like this guy in the video did with his drybrush or do have to be really careful?

when you clean it on the palm of your hand do you rub it as vigorously?
i'm asking this question, because i don't want to damage my fine detail brush and i want to spend my money well on this brush cleaner.

thanks

christopher is an excellent painter and makes great videos i always follow his advice, he claims to have had his brushes for years so he must be doing it right.

I personally only use the soap bar brush cleaner and it seems to work fine i do it gently getting a good lather and its suprising how much paint actually comes out, id say the bar is defo worth it and you can buy it from ancenottis workshop

thank you for the reply but my main question was if you can clean a FINE detail brush with the masters brush preserver?

if you guys do clean your fine detail brush with this stuff, do you rub it on your hand vigorously or gently?

thanks

I've got that stuff but I've only used it a couple of times, my advice would be to rub it gently as it only has a few bristles and it doesn't take much to bugger them up.

Cheers,
Pinky
