Those look great! I think it's a nicer bear than the original Beorn/Bear. Looks like three Beorning models, but I guess if there are two sets of heads and two weapon options you could get up to 12 unique models out of them. (Plus that would give you some spare heads left over hopefully to convert some captains etc. out of other models, which would be fun ... there aren't currently many official Games Workshop heads that have the right look/scale for Middle Earth). |

Looks Defense of the North is going to be very expensive if someone wants to play all the upcoming scenarios these releases are suggesting. |

I'm not in love with the light lime green color choice, but the models look good. One of the characters looks female, which is kinda fun. I look forward to picking these guys (and gals!) up. |

I have had dreams of a huge Beorning band for a long time. For a while the Mithril Beornings (now long out of print) were the only obvious solution. But there were only three poses. Then the A Song of Ice and Fire range came out with some big burly beardy characters, the Umbers. Then Red-Box-Games released a new set of Njorns. And now this. This is an embarrassment of riches (of big burly beary Vikingy guys) |

https://www.warhammer-community.com/202 ... dle-earth/ Preorder is open. I wasn't too far away from the prices. I guess 55 € is ok for the bear. And 29 € might seem ok when you take into account that you also get alternative bits with it. But when calculate it up and you wanna field 9 of them, it costs already 90 € for not that many miniatures... |

Those prices are vile, $101 AU for Grimbeorn. I nearly dropped my paintbrush. Think this will be the last I purchase from Forgeworld don’t see how they can justify that price! Must admit the models look fantastic! |
