I would think the Weta 1/30th scale scenery would be workable with the GW minis, but I'd have to see it to be sure. I always felt that the GW scenery was a little small. |

The mock-up has me excited. Some great shots there of terrain made in good old fashioned 1/4" foamboard. Easily something I can make for my minis to battle in. |

Deep pockets required but the end result could be awe inspiring |

They did say modular boards, so they might sell smaller bits to make it easier to build up to the final product. |

Agree with all you guys, will be expensive as its Weta. I'm going to use it for ideas, copy to make a smaller version and perhaps buy small items like the statue that would fit in |

They look very nice indeed One of the ringraiths it has listed as "Ringraith of Forod", did they give them all names in battle of five armies film as I have not come across this before? |

A couple of videos showing the product. "Adam Savage geeks out over model painting as he chats with senior painter Jules German, Adam learns how the Weta Workshop artist creates the paint master for a scaled diorama from The Hobbit, as well as discussing tips and techniques for model makers of any skill level. In this video we get to see some great close up shot of the forthcoming Dol Guldur 1:30 scale Diorama…" https://youtu.be/tnBa-3d-70c Inside WETA's collectable workshop https://youtu.be/8G_oYnnUqJg |
