Damn. It was his birthday not so long ago. I enjoyed seeing him as Saruman beating the heck out of Ringwraiths. He was a great horror actor and of course he voiced Death in the cartoon movies from Discworld - he was a friend of Terry Pratchett. |

Glad he could finish portraying Curunir in the movies. Very sad day. "mighty was the fallen meet was his ending when his mound is raised women then shall weep" as read by Sir Lee on the tolkien ensemble. |

As sad as I was to hear that he passed, I can't help but be amazed at his life. His acting career was great, yes, but the first 25 years of his life were some of the most amazing any human could have lived. http://www.badassoftheweek.com/christopherlee.html He had a great life (he said that the only thing left on his bucket list was to be in an Eastwood movie), and he is one of the few celebrities/actors that I genuinely look up to and wish to emulate. He died without any regrets, and that's not something may people can say. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmANHj8Tn7A |

Very sad about this. Glad he finished the Hobbit movies. What a Legend. War veteran, special forces. Won't see another actor like him again. And the man met Tolkien! At 93 he really did have an incredible life. RIP Sir Christopher Lee. |

Such a huge shame. He was a remarkable actor and a fine human being. Although he has slipped into shadow, his light will truly never fade. |
