Low frequency for sure. I would buy what you think you want to game with now for LOTR and Hobbit. The LOTR range seems to be narrowing by the week. Current releases for Hobbit are widely available, but it's fate very well could be the same. I have been trading some of my WOTR collection to build my LOTR SBG forces more inexpensively. |

Ditto. Generally speaking, there will be a huge hype in about December-February, then after that there will be only a couple more minor releases, barely even that. Who knows after the release of the third and 'final' film, but I doubt it's likely there will be any releases in the long term. |

If you are just getting into this system, unless you really love the look of the Peter Jackson films and have to have that look I'd go elsewhere to build my forces. If I was just staring in this I wouldn't touch the GW line, ridiculously over priced and under-supported line. There are literally loads of miniature ranges out there that could be used/adapted to make brilliant Middle Earth ranges. |
