In English it is 'we all hope so' but it is not the same for everything, other phrases can be said in different orders, though one is usually more gramatically correct 8)

Yes, that is one of those instances where it does not make sense the other way.

English is a messed up language anyway. 8) Especially our modern American version. Makes it very hard for my brain to wrap around the rules that all the Romance languages developed off of. And when I had a friend try to explain some of the complexities of Japanese...I won't even go there.

To those of you that can speak and write in a native langue plus English (and for some even more than just those two), you ROCK! Don't ever be embarrassed by minor structure goofs...though you may need to be willing to laugh at yourself a little if it's a really good one.

Mordern English one, i believe the American version is slightly simplified. I, in the UK, do not use American English, but my sister sometimes does.

I agree, well done to you Hilbert and all those who can speak a second language

Besides...Yoda gave all of us a subliminal appreciation for mixed up sentences.

Yeah, it's strange how Yoda knows enough grammar to make himself understood, but not enough to talk properly...

I think you mean

"Yoda I love. In real life, talk like him I often do. Fun it is."

I use some of this in my novel but who is Yoda? I don't know him...ANyway ehre is an exampel from my novel:
-On my pocket I put it, the beautiful ring I found
-And the river I passed, throught the boat my friend gave me...
It is wrong or they would still publish such a book that is liek a new way of writing? I am confused :?
