No I'm no accusing Y, it's just that I don't think that they are just that bad... but I do agree that the banners and Gondor Cap looks awful...

Well, these are clearly embellishments from the film. Not quite based on either the books or movies. As for being rushed, I should hope not! It's been months since the last release!

Well, the paint job is horrid, but all in all I think it is supposed to look like the White Tree as it was at the time of the War of the Ring...broken and dead looking...not too shabby.

Does anyone know when the release date should be for the elves and citadel guard? Because I know that some of these new releases are on advance order and some are not at GW.

I think (Gondor's Finest) that the models you have mentioned come out in wave 2 of WoTR releases. If memory serves, I believe the second wave is due at the end of April.

Well I'd prefer elite models to be metal.

Sure it's more expensive, but it's far more fun to paint. Also, the details are usually ALOT better.

More Rohirrim at last! Most of the other sculpts are good but there are a few howlers - I won't say which as they have already been mentioned.

The main thing I have a problem with though is the scuplting of dead and dying enemies on the same mini. The Rohan captain mini is great but the orc on there will ruin it for me if Rohan are fighting another enemy. This also put me off the warg "chieftain".

I agree, and it also helps keep people from running around with an army of elites! such as an army of berserkers!

Not realy sold on the Goblin (?) with the bats.

The rest of the stuff looks trememdous. Theres a little too much emphasis on decorative corpses and standing rocks, but they look good enough in formation.

Will this entice me back into the hobby after about 3-4 years is the real question...
