The Knight of the White Tower looks quite good, though throwing new models in a box with existing ones is really bad.

Just finished snatching up the old rohan command box before all this info came out... Don't know what to hope for, to be dissappointed by the kings huntsman and glad to not have him, or see that he is awesomesauce and hate that I just wasted my cash...

@Battalia you might be able to sell them on eBay for a decent price to someone who prefers metal to finecast. That is what I’m hoping to do.

That's what I mean, he decided there were only 7. I know he said "at most 7", but I take that as meaning: 7.

Haha, thanks. It does look like he's missing a bit of skin around the hands and the neck....

The Watcher look brilliant (and very menacing) from the front view.

I must agree. even with the legs. I think I'll rewatch FotR to see if he had legs in the movie.

Yeah I'd have liked him separate too.

He's quite good rules wise.. his sword does duo wounds :)

I did the same last night, watched the blu-ray version, very hard to tell,

but he doesn't I don't think. Also I think I remember reading somewhere that PJackson decided to give him 12 tentacles.. as tolkein had it with 20ish. THis only has 9 I believe.

Fortunately, I don't have any of those command sets, except the Easterlings. I wonder if they have a drummer on foot with them.

I don't really care how many tentacles it has, it would be pretty hard to paint if there were 12-20 tentacles on it.

Excellent stuff! More new figures! We are a spoilt lot aren't we :)

Love the Knight of the White Tower, have a few ideas for making my own two handed knight, Gondor have lacked a two handed warrior for ages!

I was thinking if those Dragon Knight Easterling rules are any good I may opt for these models instead, much cheaper although they won't be to everyones taste

The Dragon Kngith already has rules. He's a very effective fighter, mine cut through an army of dwarves (killing about 15 before going down) all on his own.

The rules for both big beasties are quite nice.

THe watcher is the cost of 50 goblins with shields, can pop up anywhere on the board, has a D6 amount of shots that drag models into combat, doubles its movement in water, and the usual harbringer of evil, terror and resistant to magic.

The Gorgoroth is half the cost of the watcher, comes with 10 orcs, 9 with bows, 1 with spear. The entire model counts as 1 model for warband purposes and bows.
It does a S6 hit against whatever it charges, and then can carry on moving (like a throwing weapon sort of).
when it dies the orcs take hits on 4+, but otherwise dismount. They can shoot and be shot at as normal and count as stationary on the platform.

Also it's movement 8

Wow, the Watcher rules looks awesome. This is going to be the first WD I've ever purchased. Looks worth it.

So, really just a small mumakil.
