Yesterday in my hobby store my manager said that GW will be reproducing all of these sourcebooks!!! His source is from the GW headquarters because he had an e-mail arriving from them. I think this is great news! I'm not sure if there will come an entire new rulebook with al the stats or just a restocking from the sourcebooks. Both would be good. So whats is your thought about it?

If they are reprinting, then great! I've seen a fair few would-be LotR-ers on the net that have been put off recently by the lack of availability of rulebooks, so this might be just what is needed to help this hobby grow rather than wither!

I was told the same thing today. I asked about the Fallen Realms book, and the manager of the Oslo GW store said all the books were going to be reprinted. So fingers crossed it happens soon.

If they are reprinted, I will definitely pick up the lot. As long as the reprint doesn't come with a hefty price increase or some such.

As is, I am flabbergasted that they let them go out of print anyway.

The store manager at my local GW (Washington DC area) told me the same thing. That he was notified by higher ups that SBG army books will be reprinted and restocked. He also was very unclear on if this means the existing books being restocked or if it means a new wave of books. Kind of got my hopes up for a new wave of SBG books... but likely just reprinted the existing ones (still a positive).

First, i'm new here so hi :) I was in my local gw the other day, and they had previously sold out of all the source books apart from moria and angmar. Imagine my surprise when they had fresh and shiny editions of all the source books in stock now.

This is very good news! In my opininion but that is another topic, I think the hobby is becoming more populair. I see more people getting back in to the hobby (me included), I hope this trend will keep going on!

Very positive news indeed! Although I would prefer a release of updated versions of the rulebooks, still the fact that they are reprinting them is encouraging for the Hobby!

Yay! I was using a 'borrowed' version for a while now. It will be nice to have the actual books. Part of me wants a full hard bound version of all the books before the end.
